Skiing? But how much travel insurance do you need?
Tuesday, 05 Feb 2008 14:48
A reader from London is going skiing and wants to know what insurance he needs.
Our team of experts at insurance company
LV=
offers a helping hand.
Ally from London asks:
I'm a good skier and just want basic ski cover for a short skiing break.
Where's the cheapest place to buy? What basic cover do I need?
I know I shouldn't have normal insurance, but what's the lowest cover I can get by on?
The team at
LV=
responds:
You need to ensure you have winter sports cover as part of your policy.
Travel insurance is very competitive and prices are often cheaper online so shop around on the web.
A word of warning, cheapest is not always the best. You should ensure you go through a reputable insurer so that if the worst does happen, you know you can rely on them. Prices with LV= start from £30 for seven days cover including winter sports.
