Films for free with Barclays student and graduate accounts

Sunday, 22 Jul 2007 14:51
Barclays is offering people taking out its student and graduate accounts 12 free cinema tickets.

On a more practical note the Barclays Student Additions account offers a £1,000 interest-free overdraft rising to £2,000 in following years, along with a Student Barclaycard charging 14.9% APR with a credit limit of up to £600 and up to 56 days interest free credit.

Barclays graduate current account deals offer interest-free overdrafts of up to £3,000, mobile phone insurance and roadside assistance for a £5-a-month or the standard free graduate bank account offering an interest-free overdraft up to £1,500, as well as a graduate Barclaycard.

Barclays also offers graduate loans and career development loans.

"We understand that being a student can be financially demanding and that there are many other things students want to be doing rather than worrying about their finances," said Andrew Harris, head of current accounts at Barclays.

"Barclays is therefore offering a straightforward way to take the hassle out of managing money with a comprehensive package and financial support to enable students to make the most of university life."
