Tuesday, 07 Aug 2007 17:08
Yorkshire Bank has unveiled it's 2007 student account - offering everything from £1,000 overdraft, two-for-one cinema tickets, and discounts on travel and festivals.

"Today's students are faced with increased pressure to manage their money well, but amazingly many are currently missing out by not opening a student specific account when they start their studies," said Gary Lumby, Yorkshire Bank head of retail.

"Our package gives them all the tools they need including 24-hour internet and telephone banking and access to first hand practical support and specialist advice."

Additionally, every person opening an account from today (Tuesday 7th August, 2007) will receive a voucher for a 2 for 1 cinema card, valid at Vue and independent cinemas until September 2008.

As well as the cinema tickets, students will receive Ticketmaster vouchers (worth £100) which can be used for tickets to gigs, festivals, theatres, and sporting events.

Further details of the account and branch locations are available at www.YBonline.co.uk
