Tuesday, 20 Mar 2007 17:36
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has launched a new mobile banking service in north Wales.

The mobile service will travel from Llandudno and five days a week providing banking services to fourteen Welsh communities.

"The launch of our mobile bank in north Wales demonstrates how committed we are to providing banking services to our customers in their local communities," said Ewen Munro, managing director of RBS Retail.

"We have been investing in the mobile banking service for 60 years and even provide a flying bank for the islands off the coast of Scotland.

At a time when other organisations are closing branches, we still firmly believe that our branch network and services such as the mobile banks, are crucial for the communities they serve."

The mobile bank will offer the normal range of day to day banking services including:
  • Paying in cash and cheques
  • Cash withdrawals
  • Making bill payments
  • Ordering foreign currency
  • More offers from this company ...
