Capital One launches new 0% credit card

Capital One is offering a new 0% credit card, charging no interest on balance transfers and purchases until May 1st 2008.
After this the card reverts to the low interest rate of 9.9% APR.
The Capital One Platinum card also includes an ID theft service helping customers protect themselves against ID fraud and helping them sort out problems if they are caught out.
"This new Platinum card offers customers excellent rates for both balance transfers and purchases and coupled with our newly updated ID theft service is one of the best offers available in the market," said Justin Basini, head of brand marketing at Capital One.
"It gives great all round value and is ideal for both those who want to transfer a balance as well as those who want to use their card to make new purchases."
Key features of the new Capital One platinum card:
0% on balance transfers until 1st May 2008
0% on purchases until 1st May 2008
1.7% balance transfer fee (this is one of the lowest balance transfer fees in the market)
