Halifax: New 0% credit card

Monday, 17 Sep 2007 14:31
Halifax is launching a new credit card with zero per cent on purchases for 15 months.

The Purchase Card offers zero per cent on purchases for 15 months, zero per cent on balance transfers for six months, with a three per cent fee, a typical APR of 14.9 per cent and 59 days of interest free credit for purchases, but not for cash advances or cheques.

The card is also available in four different colours.

Ken Stannard, head of Halifax Credit Cards, said: "As ever, Halifax is offering customers even more with its latest credit card, featuring our longest ever zero per cent deal on purchases.

"For example, savvy shoppers who take the Purchase Card out in October can spread the cost of their purchases and not pay any interest till January 2009."

Halifax is also still offering the Anniversary One Card, which offers zero per cent for nine months on both balance transfers and an extra per cent for six months on new balance transfers after one year. A three per cent fee stands for balance transfers and the typical APR is at 13.9 per cent.
