MBNA football credit cards offer 12 months interest-free

Monday, 14 Aug 2006 14:15
MBNA Europe, which provides club-branded credit cards for all 20 Premiership clubs, is offering 0% interest on balance transfers for 12 months.

In addition to being branded to the fan's choice of club and offering 12 months interest-free, MBNA is also making sure that every purchase on a Premier League credit card leads to a donation for the team.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs that use this money on youth development schemes.

And spending is encouraged by the fact MBNA's football Premiership cards also offer 0% on purchases for three months from the date the account is opened.

After introductory periods end, the cards charge a typical rate of 15.9% APR.
