Hot boiler deal from Homecall+

Monday, 13 Oct 2008 12:33
Homecall+ is offering three boiler insurance policies which have been applauded by Which? as being top value for consumers.

The consumer watchdog described the firm's policies as being among the most competitive around, according to Homecall+.

It currently offers a range of boiler insurance plans including the Evergreen policy, which costs £99 and covers the breakdown of gas and electric heating systems.

Policyholders receive an annual boiler inspection worth £50 as part of the Evergreen plan which can help lower energy bills.

The policy pays out for repairs of central heating and breakdowns of hot water systems up to a cost of £500. It is available to landlords at no extra cost.

Homecall+ also offers the comprehensive Rainbow policy which provides a greater range of cover and includes emergency repairs to wiring, plumbing, drains, broken doors and windows for £120.

It also offers the Lightening policy which combines the Evergreen and Rainbow plans. Customers sign up to the plan if and when they have a problem. This allows them to fix the problem , then provides cover for the rest of the year.

John Williams, managing director of Homecall+ said this plan was designed for those customers who would rather save the money for something else and just hope that nothing goes wrong.
