Tesco: free car insurance for Clubcard holders

Tuesday, 28 Oct 2008 12:12
Tesco is offering three months' free car insurance to Clubcard customers.

The deal, which is available until December 10th, is also open to customers buying car insurance with Tesco who do not hold a Clubcard – although they will receive two months' free.

Tesco car insurance policies feature third party liability for up to £20 million, cover for accidental damage, audio equipment cover, fire and theft cover, and up to three years guarantee on repairs and claims amongst its benefits.

Allan Burns, head of Tesco Car Insurance said: "We know times are tough and running a car can be expensive.

"By offering 12 months for the price of nine we can make car insurance more affordable for all."

The offer is available online and customers can take advantage of the deal by entering their Clubcard number when starting a quote.

The policy must be paid by direct debit to receive the discount. Customers earn one Clubcard point for every £2 paid on their premium.
