Insurancewide re-launches with new deals

Wednesday, 05 Nov 2008 10:51
Insurancewide has revamped its website and is now offering comparison on travel insurance.

The website, which compares prices primarily on car insurance, is also promising accurate live prices and a 'buy now' option to enable users to get immediate cover from top insurers .

The shake-up of the site comes as increasing numbers of websites spring up offering the comparison service. However, Insurancewide said its new site would "break new ground".

James Harrison, chief executive of the site, said: "This project has been two years in the making. We've simplified the user experience but behind the scenes we're proud of our unmatched attention to detail.

"In short, we've revolutionised the way people are able to shop for insurance."

He said it catered for the most unusual of insurance requests. Whether the user is a driver with convictions or the owner of a seven-seat imported Land Rover.

It has also developed the technology to ensure it asks users the most relevant questions, and to explain why it is asking them, to ensure a clearer picture of their needs is painted to find the right deal.

Harrison added: "We constantly test our service with insurers to make sure the prices you see are the prices you get. We are here to look after our customers."
