New Lloyds TSB mortgages make switching easy

Wednesday, 12 Nov 2008 12:02
Lloyds TSB and Cheltenham & Gloucester (C&G) have today introduced a new range of tracker mortgages to the market.

The "All Weather" tracker loans allow customers to switch to the firms' fixed-rate mortgage at any time during the deal without penalties.

The new range features a number of products for borrowers who need loan-to-value (LTV) deals of up to 60 per cent.

This includes the two-year All Weather tracker which has a rate of 4.79 per cent, which is the Bank of England's base rate plus 1.79 per cent. It has £1,995 fee.

There is also a version with a 4.89 per cent and a £995 fee.

Lloyds TSB and C&G have also launched a range of 75 per cent LTV mortgages. The two-year tracker has a rate of 4.79 per cent and comes with a £1,995 fee for loans of up to £250,000.

For a lower fee of £995 customers can take out a two-year tracker at 5.09 per cent. And there is also a Full Term All Weather Tracker with a 5.05 per cent rate and a £995 fee.
