New Abbey fixed-term savings bonds

Abbey savings has released new fixed-term savings accounts including its Abbey 50+ Bond, Children’s Savings Bond and Fixed-Rate Bonds.

All the savings bonds can be opened with as little as £1 and pay up to 6.0% interest. They are available until July 10th, 2007.

50+ Bond
This offers savers aged over 50 years old a fixed term of three years and interest guaranteed at 6.0% gross pa

Children’s Saving Bond
Abbey's Children’s Savings Bond is available for savers under-18 offering 6.0% gross pa over four years.


Fixed-Rate Bond
The Abbey fixed-rate savings bond range offers 5.8% gross annual interest, fixed over one, two, or three years.
