Bradford & Bingley: New Postal savings account at 6.3%

Bradford & Bingley today launched a new postal savings account offering 6.30 per cent gross pa/AER.

The My Time Postal Account is open to deposits between £1,000 and £2 million.

Minimum withdrawals are at £250, but no notice is necessary.

Paul Whitlock, head of savings at Bradford & Bingley, said: "The My Time Postal Account is ideal for customers who are looking to earn an attractive rate on their money while retaining the flexibility offered by easy access.

"Many savers enjoy the convenience a postal account offers them and the My Time Postal Account's rate of 6.30 per cent gross pa/AER means customers can earn a great rate of interest while managing their money in a way that suits them."

Applications forms are available from Bradford & Bingley branches, by telephoning 0845 7247 247 or from the bank's website.
