Icesave offers 5.7% on savings

Icesave has said it is increasing the amount of interest it pays to 5.7 per cent AER.
The move follows the Bank of England's decision to increase the UK base rate last week by 0.25 per cent.
Icesave said this week it will increase the interest rate on its easy access online savings accounts by 0.25 per cent to 5.7% AER.
The increase will come into effect on Icesave accounts from January 19th 2007.
