Leeds Building Society has launched their latest Saver Access Plus account - a two-year fixed rate instant access savings account.
Up until February 1st 2009 the account will pay 3.65 per cent interest from £100 up to £999, four per cent from £1,000 up to £49,999 and 4.25% from £50,000.
It allows one partial withdrawal throughout the term without notice or loss of interest, and it can also be closed with no penalty.
The minimum investment is £100 and additional investments can be made to the account.
"This fifth issue of our Saver Access Plus account, like all previous issues, offers an attractive interest rate combined with full access to all funds without notice or loss of interest," said Stuart Fearn, product development manager at Leeds Building Society
"We have now made the account an even more attractive proposition by reducing the minimum investment to only £100, to make it available to all investors.
"This account offers a number of further different and flexible advantages. Firstly, as a straightforward holding account, if customers are unable immediately to invest in one of our fixed rate bonds, until a final investment decision is made.
"In addition, this product is ideal for investors who do not want to tie their money up for any specified period of time. It also provides the flexibility of being available through both branch and postal channels."
