Leeds Building Society launches new 6.50% 3-year fixed-rate bond

Leeds Building Society has unveiled a 3-year fixed-rate savings bonds paying 6.50% AER, there is a monthly interest option paying 6.44% AER.

The new savings bond also allows one withdrawal of up to 50% of the initial amount invested, without notice or penalty at any time.

The minimum investment in the Leeds savings bond is just £5,000.

"This is another product in our range that offers a fixed rate of return combined with the flexibility of access to some of the funds, without notice or penalty," said Karen Wint, head of marketing at Leeds.

"This unique combination of guaranteed rate and access has proved popular with many customers and they can now invest for 2 or 3 years at the same rate – it’s their choice."
