Leeds Building Society launches Tessa-ISA products

Leeds Building Society has released a range of fixed-rate tax-free Tessa-ISA products.

The 1-year Tessa-ISA pays 5.60%, the 2-year version returns 5.70% and the 3-year pays 5.85%.

The minimum investment is only £1 with no short-term bonus rates or catches to open accounts.

1 Year Fixed Rate Tessa-ISA
  • 5.60% fixed until 1st August 2008
  • Interest is paid annually on 5th April commencing on 5th April 2008 and on maturity 1st August 2008
  • Minimum Investment £1
  • Maximum Investment - Balance of existing TESSA ISA
  • Withdrawals of up to 50% can be made without notice or loss of interest at any time (if further withdrawals are made or the account is closed the account will be subject to 90 days loss of interest).

    2 Year Fixed Rate Tessa-ISA
  • 5.70% fixed until 1st August 2009.
  • Interest is paid annually on 5th April commencing on 5th April 2008 and on maturity 1st August 2009.
  • Minimum Investment £1
  • Maximum Investment - Balance of existing TESSA ISA
  • Withdrawals of up to 25% can be made without notice or loss of interest at any time (if further withdrawals are made or the account is closed the account will be subject to 90 days loss of interest)

    3 Year Fixed Rate Tessa-ISA
  • 5.85% fixed until 1st August 2010.
  • Interest is paid annually on 5th April commencing on 5th April 2008 and on maturity 1st August 2010.
  • Minimum Investment £1
  • Maximum Investment - Balance of existing TESSA ISA.
  • Withdrawals of up to 25% of the initial investment can be made without notice or loss of interest at any time (if further withdrawals are made or the account is closed the account will be subject to 90 days loss of interest)
