Thursday, 02 July 2009 12:00

Caxton FX is axing ATM withdrawal fees on all its prepaid currency cards, it has been announced this week.

The firm currently charges $2 or ?2 when customers take out money from a cash machine using the Dollar or Euro cards, which provide a way to pay for goods and services overseas.

The move, according to Caxton FX, has made the cards the best value on the market

James Hickman, managing director of the company, said: "We are constantly trying to improve our products and ensure that we offer the very best value on the market.

"The removal of ATM fees will certainly help our customers at a time when family budgets are stretched."

Fees will abolished from the end of next week on the Euro and Dollar cards. Caxton FX's Global Traveller card is already withdrawal fee-free.
