Virgin Money has launched a new credit which comes with a zero per cent interest rate on balance transfers for nine months.

Virgin Media is offering new mobile phone deals providing unlimited texts on a 30-day rolling contract on three tariffs during September.

The Supersize SIM Only deal is available for customers taking out £10, £15 or £18 a month tariffs.

And, as well as unlimited texts, Virgin is also providing "fantastic value" talk packages which amount to hundreds of minutes across all three tariffs.

Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media, said: "Our SIM Only packages have been hugely popular since they launched last year and many of our customers love the simplicity of sticking with their current handset and number but with no lengthy contract."

The package also includes free voicemail in the UK, unlimited mobile web access from 30p a day and unlimited calls to other Virgin mobile phones.

Existing Virgin Media customers who already have broadband, TV or landline services with the firm will also benefit from additional minutes on the £15 and £18 deals.
