Broadband customers could be missing out on savings of around £210 a year because they do not bundle their internet service together with digital TV and home phone.

A new survey by Consumer Choices has shown that 33% of broadband users currently pay for the web, television and a landline through separate contracts.

It also found that people with bundled packages are more likely to be satisfied with the value for money offered by their service than those with different providers at 57% to 47%.

Michael Phillips, product director at Consumer Choices, said that there are "considerable savings" to be made by combining internet, phone and TV in a single deal as providers are locked in an extremely competitive battle for subscribers.

"There's also the added convenience of having only one bill to pay," he commented.

According to the Office for National Statistics, 63% of UK households had a broadband connection in 2009, up from 56% the year before.
