Save money on a new computer this Christmas

Saturday, 27 November 2010 12:00

A sales promotion similar to the scrappage scheme for cars is being trialled by Curry's and PC World in the run up to Christmas, a very popular time to buy new electrical equipment.

If you are in the market for a new computer, it makes sense to get the best deal possible and this deal will help you save money. It still pays to compare other sources for the same laptop and see if you can find a better deal anywhere else, but this offer should help customers save some money in the run-up to Christmas.

Customers can trade-in old laptops and will receive a guaranteed £70 off the cost of a new one or £30 off a netbook. The laptops have to be in working order and can be part-exchanged against a new laptop or desktop computer.

The more you spend the more discounts you receive. If you choose a laptop that retails at £499, you receive £100 off.
