Double Indemnity

Double Indemnity is a clause on many accident insurance and life insurance polices that offers twice the normal pay out if death is accidental.

Sometimes other specified circumstances can trigger the double indemnity clause. Policyholders frequently have to pay an additional fee to secure a double indemnity clause.
