Driving ban assistance

Tuesday, 22 May 2007 01:34

Driving ban assistance is a product that will cover the cost of travel for people issued with a driving ban.

With an increase in speed cameras and six-point penalties becoming more common, the likelihood of being banned from driving is increasing.

And the cost of being banned can be considerable, with taxi bills and tickets for public transport for essential travel adding to the expense of fines.

However, insurance providers can cover the cost of a driving ban - offering £1,000 a month payments for travel costs for six months from a little as £5.99 a month.

This is available for people with up to 11 points either on their licence or pending, although the more points you have the more expensive the cost of cover.

If you have accrued points in segments of more than three points at a time then you might also not be eligible for cover.
