Tesco home insurance spring sale

Tesco Home Insurance is offering a 50 per cent discount this spring.

The offer runs until March 5th and is available to all new customers who obtain a quote and go on to buy within 90 days.

The 50 per cent discount includes the current 30 per cent and 35 per cent discounts for phone and online applications and stands for the first year's premiums for both contents and buildings insurance.

Tesco claims a three-bedroom home in Birmingham could save £117 a year by switching.

Allan Burns, head of Tesco home insurance, said: "This is a great saving and it's worth getting a quote even if your policy doesn't expire for a couple of months."
