50% off home insurance at Tesco

Tesco is offering 50 per cent off home insurance policies for new customers who take out its Standard or Finest covers.

Anyone who obtains a quote on Tesco Home Insurance before January 7th2009 is eligible to take advantage of the discount.

And the insurer has also announced it will increase the contents sum insured for all contents home insurance policies by ten per cent from December 1st 2008 to January 15th 2009 at no extra cost.

Jim Bruce, head of Tesco Insurance, said: "This is a fantastic offer for our customers, especially in the current economic climate.

"This is also a great opportunity for our customers to save money in the run up to Christmas."

Quotes are valid for 90 days. The offer does not apply to Value and Buy to Let insurance.
