Direct Line: Pet insurance sale

Tuesday, 24 March 2009 12:00

Direct Line is offering one year of their pet insurance for the price of ten months.

The price is available to new customers until May 20th.

The insurance provides cover for vet fees, up to £2 million in third party liability cover for dogs, and pet bereavement counselling.

Chris Price, head of Direct Line Pet Insurance, said: "Pet owners should remember to safeguard themselves against hefty vet bills by taking out insurance for their pets.

"Sadly many dogs and cats have to be put down every year because owners are cutting back on insurance and then cannot afford to cover the costly vet bills associated with an accident or illness."
