Unemployment rises to 2.47 million

UK jobless total rises

The number of people unemployed in the UK has risen to 2.47 million - the highest since November 1996.

PPI: Over 90% chance of complaint success

Complaints for PPI rise to 750 a week

Complaints data released by the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) show high levels of payment protection insurance (PPI) complaints are found in favour of consumers.
