M&S Pet Insurance: Win free food

M&S Money is offering pet insurance customers the chance to win a year's supply of free dog or cat food.

The insurer has opened the competition to anyone who takes out or renews their M&S pet insurance policy before December 31st.

And it said its policyholders, even if they don't win, will benefit from reduced pet food costs with a five per cent discount from Bestpet.co.uk, an online pet shop.

It has launched the incentive in a bid to encourage more pet owners to feed their pets a healthy diet after a recent survey found more owners are becoming concerned about what they feed their animals.

Charles Sweeney of Bestpet, said: "Responsible pet owners who ensure their cats and dogs have a healthy diet and regular exercise can help reduce expensive vet bills in the future."

M&S pet insurance also includes a multi pet discount and gives M&S cardholders 250 points when they take out a policy. New customers applying for the policy online will also receive a 15 per cent discount.
