Home insurance: Is your home fully protected - Live web TV show

Saturday, 04 July 2009 07:28

As the recession hits Britain, people are looking to make cut backs, and home insurance is being cut back.

But are we leaving ourselves open to a greater financial shock?

A poll from the Association of British Insurers shows 22 per cent of people said to save money in the last year they had stopped paying home contents insurance, and 17 per cent had stopping buildings cover.

After years of not making a claim it can seem easy not to renew.

Martyn Foulds from Halifax Home Insurance is joining us live online to discuss home insurance.

He will be on hand at 14:30 on Friday July 10th to answer your questions about home insurance.

Martyn will be looking at making sure you have home insurance that really covers you, and how to avoid the nasty loopholes insurers sometimes drop into contracts, as well as how to make sure you are not paying too much or have cover you do not need.

Submit a question below now and join us for the live show or catch the repeated programme later in the day.
