Scottish Provident gets five stars for critical illness product

Scottish Provident's critical illness product has been awarded five stars by Defaqto for the sixth year in a row.

The company's Self Assurance range of products has been given the award, with the rating representing an excellent product following researcher and industry analyst reviews.

Ben Heffer, insight analyst at Defaqto, said: "Scottish Provident's Self Assurance critical illness plan is one of the best on the market and the product has consistently scored well for features and benefits for both stand-alone and accelerated cover over a number of years."

The Self Assurance range has critical illness cover, including critical illness level term, critical illness decreasing term and critical illness stand-alone insurance.
