Co-operative offers flexible breakdown cover

A new breakdown insurance product from The Co-operative is aimed at giving drivers flexibility over their level of cover.

Four options are offered, with customers able to take out policies for short periods ranging from one to 31 days.

Designed to cater for foreign trips and allow for an historically busy breakdown period as the school summer holidays approach, key features include a £10 apology payment if the customer is waiting for more than one hour.

Highlighting the flexibility of the offering, business leader David Neave commented: "The new Co-operative Insurance Breakdown Cover [allows] customers to develop a tailor-made breakdown product to best suit their needs."
