Fortis launches Fleet Guard insurance

Friday, 22 January 2010 12:00

Fortis has officially launched its Fleet Guard product, an insurance package for businesses which provides cover for between three and 50 vehicles.

Features of the insurance plan include a maximum legal claims limit of up to £100,000 for non-fault claims, including like-for-like replacement vehicle and physiotherapy following an accident.

It also comes with full EU and EEA cover, occasional business use cover for employees using their own vehicles for work, and a UK-based contact point.

Fleet Guard, which insures private cars and commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes, has been fully launched following a successful pilot scheme last year.

Adam Clarke, underwriting director of Fortis, said: "I have been delighted with the feedback from brokers on the pilot of our new fleet proposition and am pleased to announce the much anticipated full launch."

The product is the latest addition to Fortis' commercial portfolio.
