The AA launches life cover for over 50s

A new low-cost life insurance policy for those aged 50 and over has been launched by the AA, as part of its award-winning life insurance range.
The AA 50 Plus Life Insurance is provided by Friends Provident and is a whole of life plan that offers a guaranteed cash sum on death.
Mark Huggins, director of AA Financial Services, stated customers can choose their premium rate, which will influence the sum assured.
"You are guaranteed to qualify providing you're a UK resident aged between 50 and 80 at the time of application," he added.
The minimum premium available is £4.99 per month and the maximum £49.99.
