Halifax offers home insurance customers 'a free day for life'

A number of benefits are being offered that may encourage consumers to opt to take out a home insurance policy with Halifax.

Until July 22nd, individuals will be able to take advantage of its Free Day for Life deal, which is made up of a free Blockbuster movie or game rental every Sunday for a year, a cheque for £50 and a free day of home insurance every year for life.

Halifax Home Insurance marketing director Lindsay Forster stated this month and next are a "key time for home insurance shopping".

She said the offer "is a great way to reward those customers who want a quality home insurance policy at a great price" and suggested individuals can find the right deal for them by speaking to an expert.

Those interested in the offer will be able to take advantage of it by purchasing a combined buildings and contents policy in-branch or over the telephone.
