Sainsbury's car insurance fuel discount offer ends on October 3rd

Tuesday, 27 September 2011 12:03

Nectar card holders who take out one of these policies will receive twelve coupons entitling them to 5p off per litre every month at Sainsbury's 262 forecourts across the country.

Extra points can be earned as car insurance customers receive double on all their purchases in store or at the forecourt for two years

That means a customer with a typical weekly shop of £50 will save £33 on fuel per year and get £52 worth of double Nectar points.

Meanwhile, those who spend £100 a year will get the same fuel savings and £104 worth of double points on their Nectar card.

Recent research from Confused.com showed Ford's KA2 is the cheapest car for 17 to 20-year-olds to insure, at £1,651.40 a year.
