Sainsbury's offers life insurance customers double nectar points

Thursday, 20 October 2011 08:05

Sainsbury's Finance is offering new life insurance customers the equivalent of up to two per cent off their shopping for two years when they use their Nectar card.

This is because they will benefit from double Nectar points on all Sainsbury's shopping in-store, online and in petrol filling stations for a 24-month period.

For example, those spending £49 per week in-store at Sainsbury's could, over 12 months, earn points equivalent to the value of a week's free shopping, the supermarket giant claimed.

Helen Williams, head of Sainsbury's Life Insurance, commented: "We are continually looking to reward our customers so we are delighted to extend our Double Nectar points offer to our life insurance customers.

"The peace of mind that comes with knowing that you've protected your family financially is invaluable so we'd encourage anyone who either doesn't already have life insurance, or whose circumstances may have changed, to consider their own life cover."
