Sainsbury's car insurance launches 25% online discount

Sainsbury's customers who have a Nectar card will get a 25 per cent discount on car insurance when they take out a policy.

The offer, which lasts until Tuesday November 8th, means card holders get an additional ten per cent saving on top of the 15 per cent they got previously.

New Sainsbury's car insurance customers also receive double Nectar points on all shopping in-store, online and in petrol filling stations for two years.

This saving equates to the equivalent of two per cent off purchases, Sainsbury's claimed.

For example, a household spending £49 a week in-store at Sainsbury's could earn up to a week's free shopping over a year.
