M&S Money offers discounts on home and pet insurance

Friday, 13 January 2012 02:57

Anyone ready to renew their home or pet insurance could be considering a move to M&S Money, after it announced special offers on this kind of cover.

There will be up to 30 per cent off M&S home insurance online for customers who take out the Premier policy with unlimited cover until February 29th 2012.

This includes new-for-old replacement, repairs on accidental damage to buildings and contents and cover for storm damage to gates and fences.

Meanwhile, pet insurance customers will get up to 25 per cent off for taking out either Premier or Standard cover for their dogs and other animals.

This will pay out even for ongoing treatment and there is no upper age limit for dogs and cats, while owners can also benefit from a 24-hour helpline should their pet fall ill at night.

M&S Money's Colin Kersley said: "Our customers care about their homes and their pets so we are offering valuable savings on these products for new customers."

Earlier this month, Marks & Spencer said its like-for-like sales increased by 0.5 per cent over the 13 weeks to December 31st 2011.
