BGL motor insurance: Now with stand-in car

The BGL Group has launched a guaranteed replacement car or van service to complement its motor insurance policy.

Customers of BGL's in-house brands Budget, Ibuyeco, Quotemart and Dial Direct will benefit from the service which kicks in if their vehicle is stolen or damaged.

According to BGL, its policyholders will also benefit from a longer period of replacement than they would with the average policy. It said its standard policies provided a stand-in vehicle for 14 days, and its enhanced cover offered 28-days' replacement.

Andy Bord, director of BGL's in-house brands, said: "There is significant market demand for replacement cars and vans, as so many people are heavily reliant on their vehicle for both business and social purposes."

The guaranteed replacement car or van service is available as part of BGL's annual car insurance policies, which are available via direct websites, by phone or via price comparison websites.
