RIAS in Top 2 car insurance providers

Over-50s car insurer RIAS has been named one of the top two car insurance providers by readers of Auto Express.

RIAS received praise in the 2009 Driver Power survey for its helpfulness and product performance. But readers were also impressed with its ability to tailor products to suit and with the range of products and services provided.

Janet Connor, managing director of RIAs, said: "To be voted as one of the top providers in the market by consumers, the people who really matter, is a huge achievement."

She added: "Our brand focuses on tailoring insurance for the over-50s, providing choices and treating our customers with respect, coupled with offering value for money products."

The survey took in the opinions of 20,000 Auto Express readers.
