Help writing a will: Live video webchat

Monday, 26 October 2009 02:07

Writing a will is tough, but ignoring could cause a major tax headache of your heirs.

Having a will is the best way to ensure your estate is passed on exactly as you wish in the most tax efficient manner - and this is why independent legal and financial advice should be sought.

However, 28 million Brits - 57 per cent of the adult population - are currently without a will and two-thirds with young families with children under 18 are unprotected

The main reason people give for not having a will is simply not getting round to doing it.

Danny Cox, independent financial adviser at Hargreaves Lansdown Financial Practitioners, and solicitorPeter Nellist, partner at Clarke Willmott, will be on hand to answer your questions about wills in a live video webchat for Write a Will Week.

Submit a question now below and tune in for the live show on Tuesday October 27th at 13:00,or catch the repeated show later that day.
