AEGON Asset Management reveals Absolute Return Fund

AEGON Asset Management is aiming to capitalise on its successful UK equity investment process with the launch of its new UK Equity Absolute Return Fund.

The product aims to give investors positive absolute returns regardless of how UK stocks are performing by investing in long and short positions and a strong focus on reducing volatility and preserving capital.

Steve Kenny, European head of retail sales at the company, said the fund, which will be managed by David Griffiths and David Pringle, will prove to be an effective tool for savvy investors.

"This is an exciting addition to our current UK equity fund portfolio, which will be able to maximise the stock-piling process our UK team has been deploying so successfully," he added.
