Asset manager Threadneedle has been ranked top among its UK peers with the highest quota of top-rated funds in 2010.

This is according to this year's Feri EuroRating Awards.

The standings are based on performance and risk criteria and funds are only eligible if they have a five-year track record of management by one fund manager.

It was revealed 67 per cent of their eligible funds had ratings of A or B, while 77 per cent of their equity funds achieved the same.

Head of distribution at the organisation Campbell Fleming noted: "At Threadneedle we pool our expertise across all desks, creating a multi-lateral approach to investment opportunities."
