HSBC unveils MSCI Pacific ex-Japan ETF

Tuesday, 07 September 2010 12:00

HSBC has added the MSCI Pacific ex-Japan exchange traded fund (ETF) to its range of investment products.

It is the tenth ETF to be launched by the bank - following the introduction of the HSBC MSCI Brazil ETF in July - and offers a "very competitive" total expense ratio of 0.4 per cent.

The ETF was listed on the London Stock Exchange today (September 7th) and gives investors exposure to the performance of the MSCI Pacific ex-Japan Index.

Farley Thomas, head of ETFs at HSBC, said it allows the bank "to offer near complete exposure to developed equity markets".
