M&S is to launch a new loyalty scheme for credit card customers, which gives them access to a range of exclusive perks.

The new Premium Club is to be unveiled tomorrow and is available for M&S credit card holders for the price of £10 per month.

Benefits include triple loyalty points on the credit card when shopping in store or online, complimentary hot drinks worth up to £120 per year at the M&S Cafe and worldwide multi-trip family travel insurance.

Members of the scheme will also receive "special treats" throughout the year including a birthday gift and seasonal presents.

Amanda Newman, M&S Premium Club Manager, said the overall value of the benefits was several times the cost of membership.

She added: "Our customers love the M&S loyalty scheme, and with Premium Club they will get their money back in many ways.

"Being able to earn triple points has created great excitement with customers, as they will get three times the rewards for the same amount of shopping at M&S."

The M&S credit card is available to new customers with a rate of zero per cent interest on all shopping for ten months, and zero per cent interest on balance transfers for six months.
