MBNA unveils 20 month 0% balance transfer credit card

MBNA has launched a credit card offering zero per cent interest on balance transfers for 20 months. The card has a representative rate of 16.9% APR variable.

Tesco is now offering zero per cent interest on purchases for 12 months on its Clubcard credit card.

The deal is for new customers applying online and also includes zero per cent on balance transfers for six months.

Currently the credit card offers six months interest-free borrowing on purchases. However, Tesco has extended the period to help people applying online to spread the cost of their shopping over a year.

The Clubcard credit card has a typical annual percentage rate (APR) of 16.9 per cent. There is a fee of two per cent.
