AA credit card rewards members

A new credit card has been launched by the AA offering reward points on all motoring-related purchases.

The AA Credit Card also rewards members of the motoring organisation double points and allows them to earn one per cent cash back on fuel purchased on the card.

And once reward points have been accumulated they can be spent on AA products, motoring and travel essentials, shopping vouchers or days out, among other items.

The AA said that with fuel prices set to rise to more than £5 per gallon, a credit card such as this could help ease the pain for drivers.

Mark Huggins, director of AA Financial Services, added: "We can do little to control the price of petrol and diesel but we urge drivers to keep their eyes open for the cheapest pump prices which are often at supermarkets."

Non-AA members earn one point on motoring purchases, including fuel, and one point per two purchases of any other products or services.

Members, meanwhile, can earn two points per motoring purchase, including fuel, and one point for each purchase made on other goods.
