Sainsbury's credit card rewards loyalty

Sainsbury's is promoting its credit card which offers Nectar points equivalent to two per cent cash back on purchases made at the supermarket.
It is highlighting the deal to coincide with the publication of research showing the number of credit card providers offering cash back is dwindling.
According to the study, of 224 credit cards available in the UK only 13 are still offering the deals compared to 43 in 2005.
Stuart McKeggie, head of Sainsbury's credit cards, said: "The number of credit cards offering cash back has fallen but there are cards out there offering great reward alternatives."
He added: "People need to ask themselves what they need from their card and pick the right one for their wallet."
Sainsbury's has calculated customers spending £50 a week on their card will receive the equivalent of one week's spend in return. This amounts to £52 worth of Nectar points each year."
