Free insurance on Freedom Eagle card
Customers with a Freedom Eagle Cash Card are being offered free insurance to protect their money from theft or damage.
The recently-launched prepaid Mastercard is providing free 30-day purchase and price protection plus free extended warranty cover as of this month.
According to Freedom Eagle, this is the first time a prepaid card has provided this kind of protection package to customers.
A spokesperson for the firm said: "Not only do you get peace of mind with the added security of the last chip and pin technology, but you now also get a whole insurance package that no other prepaid card in the UK can offer."
Purchase protection provides cover for items bought with the card against theft or accidental damage for 30 days.
Price protection, meanwhile, covers the difference in price if customers pay for an item with their card and then find it cheaper elsewhere.
And extended warranty provides 12 month mechanical breakdown cover on any domestic electrical goods purchased in the UK on the card.
