Two new fixed rate cash ISAs have been unveiled today by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, offering a choice of maturity date and a return of up to 4.25 per cent.

A Gold MasterCard offered by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks that provides 16 months of zero per cent interest on balance transfers remains on offer to new and existing customers.

Key features of the finance option include zero per cent interest for the first three months on all purchases, no annual fee and secure online shopping.

The product also comes with typical annual percentage rate of 16.9 per cent variable and offers up to 59 days interest free on all bought items if the balance is paid off in full each month.

Steve Reid, Retail Director for Clydesdale Bank, said the card is "ideal for customers who want to reduce their spending as well as reducing the cost of any outstanding debts".
